GARY, Ind. - The third game of the final regular season series against Saint Paul ended tonight with a RailCats win over the Saints placing the RailCats one game closer to the playoffs. The Saints will continue their final road trip and head to Schaumburg to finish out the regular season against the Flyers before returning to Midway Stadium for the playoffs on Tuesday September 6, 2005. The RailCats finish out their season at home against the Joliet JackHammers with their final game Sunday afternoon at the U.S. Steel Yard.
With only three days left in the regular season St. Paul and Fargo-Moorhead lead their respective divisions. Currently Fargo-Moorhead leads the NL North, Saint Paul leads the NL South, Lincoln is one game out of first, and Gary is one game out of first while leading in the wild card spot.
