Pitchers, Like Poets, Are Born Not Made

"Pitchers, like poets, are born not made." ~Cy Young

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - To say anything about baseball here is to presume I have some expertise on the subject; however I am far from an expert. I do have an on going love affair with this game that those of us who have played or watched since we were small children often do.

Baseball is our opportunity to remain connected with our inner child remembering the feelings of joy and accomplishment we felt while we played and dreamed on that great grassy field every summer.

Those few individuals blessed with an opportunity to play this game into their adult years were like the rest of us dreaming long ago in their backyard of growing up to become great ballplayers. Now through hard work they're on their way to fulfilling a life long dream. With this web site and its contents I hope to let those who are still in-love with the game enjoy and live it through my photographic work.

From time to time I will update the photographs and add my thoughts, dreams and memories along with whatever else crosses my mind about the game of baseball and the game of life.
